Toddler Daycare at Trust Child Care

At this stage children have developed an awareness of others. They are learning how to successfully interact with one another as they develop their social skills. It is a wonderful time as children begin to make connections as they learn to explore their environments in a more purposeful way. Concepts such as cooperation and community are introduced and children’s blossoming sense of independence is encouraged. Our toddler rooms are divided into areas of interest that promote social/emotional, cognitive and physical development. With low shelving and wide-open spaces our toddler rooms are the perfect place for your busy little learner!

Children are eligible for our toddler program at approximately 18 months of age.

5 Day – Monday-Friday – 7:30 AM-6:00 PM

7:30 am: Classroom Opens; Arrival of Children

7:30 – 9:00 am: Free Play (7:30 am – 8:30 am) Morning Snack Time (8:30 am – 9:00 am) 1st Washroom Break

9:00 – 10:00 am: Programming Activities (9:45 am – 10:00 am) Water Break; Prepare to go outside

10:00 – 11:00 am: Gross Motor Time *Location dependent on weather* (Outside – In The Playground) (Indoor 10:15 – 11:15 am – Gym)

11:00 – 11:10 am: Undress; Water Break

11:10 – 11:30 am: Group Circle Time

11:30 – 12:00 pm: (11:30 – 11:40 am) Wash Hands (11:40 – 12:00 pm) Lunch Time

12:00 – 12:30 pm: 2nd Washroom Break

12:30 – 2:30 pm: Lights Out; Nap/Quiet Time

2:30 – 3:00 pm: 3rd Washroom Break (2:45 – 3:00 pm) Water Break; Prepare to go outside

3:00 – 4:00 pm: Gross Motor Time *Dependent on weather* (Outside – In The Playground) (Indoor – Classroom)

4:00 – 4:30 pm: Afternoon Snack Time

4:30 – 5:00 pm: 4th Washroom Break

5:00 – 6:00 pm: Free Play

6:00 pm: Centre Closure.
