This morning our Jk’s embarked on an exciting little garden adventure across the street to the Community Living Toronto Centre. We had a wonderful time digging for worms, learning about the different herbs and veggies we planted, and even had enough time to water them all!
Carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, lettuce, lavender, sage, oregano, parsley and rosemary are now a few of our favourite things!
We cannot wait to return to check-in on our plants and watch them grow. We will be returning weekly to water, smell and even pick some plants for classroom cross-examination and perhaps even some yummy taste-testing!
