Easter Activities

Spring is here! The Trust Child Care Toddler 3 children celebrated the arrival of the season and Easter with their teachers, parents ad grandparents. Miss Jennifer, Miss Shalah and Miss Arshiya planned for some excellent Easter activities that got the parents and children working together. Here are two Easter Activities that were a huge success with our toddler friends.  Try them out this weekend at your own Easter Celebration!

Matzo House Decorating – Matzo, icing and chocolate chips is all you need for the sweet and fun activity. Make sure that everyone has their own foil covered tray. Let your creativity shine through by breaking your Matzo into interesting shapes and seeing what type of structure you can assemble. Use icing as the glue to hold it all together. Using a mini spatula from the dollar store spread a thin layer on our roof and sides and add some yummy decorations. Our toddlers used peanut and tree nut free mini chocolate chips.

Bingo Dabber Easter Eggs – We all know children love bingo dabbers and a blank canvas. Usually our canvas is a table covered with white paper and we let the children have some bingo dabber fun. But why not make a hard boiled egg your canvas? Our toddlers had a great time decorating their eggs.  Bingo dabbers are great because they are mess free and easy to tidy up! Grab some at your local craft or dollar store – just make to read the label and be sure they are non toxic. Collect some egg cartons ahead of time. They make a great place to rest your eggs to dry and also make taking them home a breeze!

We hope that you and your families have a wonderful long weekend and that you find some time to try these great Easter activities out yourself!
