It has been an eventful month here at Trust Child Care. Even though there was little snowfall in down town Toronto, our awesome teaching team found a thousand different ways to get their students in the holiday spirit.
We celebrated the 100th day of school in our Kindergarten rooms, by counting to 100
And making special hats!
Our toddler 1 children built a fire to keep their classroom cozy and bright, while the Kindergarteners made ‘snow angels’ in playground 🙂
Our Preschool 1 classroom read about the elf on the shelf, and kept their eyes peeled throughout the month to see where in the classroom he’d pop up next! Here he is on the multicultural board – that sneaky Harold.
Many of our teachers made beautiful door decorations. The children love to point out their friends on their way through the school!
We’re so glad our Toddler teacher Jennifer made arrangements for the Summerhill fire department to stop by for a visit. Some of our toddlers and Kindergarteners ventured out to our parking lot where the fire truck was parked. They took turns ‘driving the fire truck’, while our infants looked on in excitement!
Trust kids learned about Hanukkah, took in puppet shows, and hand crafted pictures for their loved ones.
Parents joined in on the festivities too. Shout out to our parent volunteers – thanks for spending time with our teachers to help with the little ones! There were also parent parties, Christmas concerts, and so much more 🙂
Trust parents and children made sure to spread the holiday cheer throughout our Toronto community, by donating to our mitten tree. Thank you all so much for taking the time to participate with your child on this initiative – it meant a great deal to us and to the recipients. Our lobby mitten tree looked gorgeous too!
We wish you all a happy holiday season, and can’t wait to hear all about your child’s adventures in 2016 🙂
Happy holidays and see you in the new year,
The Trust Team
